3DLac is a bed adhesion solution created specially for 3D printers that feature a heated bed (up to 110 ºC), although it is also valid for 3D printers with cold base. 3DLac's function is to hold the first layer of plastic so that it does not move at the start of printing, preventing warping and failures in the early 3D printing process. Thanks to the innovative double locking formula, once the printed piece has cooled down, it can be released smoothly and undamaged. The 3DLac adhesion solution can be successfully used with 3D printing materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, and more.

3DLac is available in varius formats. On the one hand, there is the traditional spray lacquer version (75 ml or 400 ml) that allows the product to be easily and quickly expanded. On the other hand, the liquid vaporizer format (100 ml) allows to concentrate more the product in a specific area and prevents it from sticking to the mechanical parts of the 3D printer. It is absolutely crucial to keep in mind that if air shipment is required, the 3DLac Stick should be purchased as it is safe and therefore viable for air shipment without restrictions.

3DLac is a very efficient and cost effective ahesion solution, unlike many generic products that were not designed specially for 3D printing. This is due to the fact that one applied layer of the product can guarantee adhesion for the next 3-4 printing sessions. As far as printer maintenance, 3DLac is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The variety of available formats make the product highly versatile and appealing to various user profiles with distinct printing setups and workflows.

How to appy 3DLac

To prepare for applying 3DLac, remove the print surface from the 3D printer to ensure proper handling and avoid contamination of the printer components. Clean the glass or print tray thoroughly so that it is smooth, dry, and free from dust or grease. Hold the can of 3DLac, 3DLac Mini, or 3DLac+ about 20–30 cm away from the surface, and spray evenly. Always perform this step in a well-ventilated area and away from the printer to prevent overspray on sensitive parts.

How to remove the part

Once printing is complete, allow the heated print bed to cool to below 30 °C. At this temperature, the adhesion strength decreases, enabling easy and safe removal of the printed part. Depending on the size and geometry of the model, it can often be removed without the need for tools, minimizing the risk of damage to both the model and the print surface.

Print surface maintenance

For subsequent prints, reapply 3DLac only to areas where the previous part was printed. The remaining sections of the print surface should retain sufficient adhesive properties. After three to four prints, clean the entire print surface with a damp cloth to remove any residue and ensure an even application. Allow it to dry thoroughly before reapplying 3DLac to maintain consistent adhesion and surface quality.
