The printer's 10.1" LCD screen has 11520 x 5120 px resolution, 19 x 24 µm XY pixel size (with printing details as precise as a hair thickness), 480:1 contrast, 4.7 % light transmittance and an approximately 2000 hours lifespan.

Leveling-free fast printing

One of the most exciting features of the Mono M5s printer is that it does not require manual leveling. A mechanical sensor located on the cantilever arm identifies the alignment between the printing platform and the floating leveling module. Then an automatic adjustment is made according to the results. This eliminates the possibility of leveling errors and enhances the overall success rate of the printing process.

Another key feature of Mono M5s is that it can reach printing speeds of up to 105 mm/h with high speed resins and the Photon Workshop software in version 3.1 or higher. This is about 3 times faster than most similar printers on the market. This is possible thanks to a high-speed release film that provides the force necessary to ensure a high printing success rate while reducing the release height and increasing the lifting speed. With standard resins the maximum printing speed achievable is 75 mm/h.

Smart features

Photon Mono M5s has been equipped with features that make the printing process smooth, safe and efficient. The printer performs multiple tests (auto device check) of the exposure screen connectivity, motor operation status and mechanical detection module. As soon as any potential hardware problems are detected, they are immediately fixed to ensure successful printing.

Furthermore, Photon Mono M5s detects if the resin level is sufficient to complete the printing job prior to beginning the printing process. If that is not the case, the user will be notified. Another intelligent feature of Photon Mono M5s is that it notifies the user of common printing failures, analyzes their possible causes and suggests a solution to avoid this problem in the future.
