Revo CR

E3D is an English manufacturer of components for 3D FDM printers. They specialize in components responsible for filament extrusion, and their portfolio includes heat breaks, heater blocks, heatsinks, nozzles, extruders and hotends. The E3D hotends are known for their innovative Rapid Change system which allows a quick and easy nozzle change at room temperature, without the need for additional tools.

The Revo CR hotend, developed for the Creality 3D printers, is an example of that. It is compatible with the Ender 3 series, Ender 5 series, the Ender 6, and the CR 10 series, and specifically with the following models:

The Revo CR kit includes a special Revo HeaterCore together with an integrated 100K NTC thermistor, which has the same response as the stock Creality thermistor.

The HeaterCore makes the 3D printer heat up faster and more efficiently than the standard hotend. The HeaterCore in the Revo CR hotend has an additional safety measure against thermal runaways in the Creality 3D printers. Namely, thanks to the inbuilt 100K NTC thermistor with PTC behavior (“Positive Temperature Coefficient”), its resistance increases with increasing temperature.

The E3D Revo CR hotend does not require any additional mounts or adapters. It is very easy to mount as it comes with pre-drilled M3 clearance holes that match Creality’s X carriage mounting pattern. The existing M3 bolts can be reused for the installation of the Revo CR hotend.

The Revo CR kit Includes solderless, crimpless, butt splice connectors for easy connection. All the user needs to do is wire the HeaterCore into the Creality 3D printer, without the need to undo the entire cable bundle.

Since the Revo CR nozzle is part of the Rapid Change family, the process of changing the nozzle is convenient and straightforward - at room temperature and without special tools.

The Revo CR hotend is available in a 12 V or 24 V version in the form of a Single Nozzle Kit or Fully Loaded Kit. Before purchasing or installing the Revo CR hotend, please make sure if your 3D printer runs 12 V or 24 V.
