High performance engineering resin with ABS-like properties and high impact and heat resistance.

The Tough 2K resin from the Raise3D portfolio of 3D printing photopolymers is an engineering material designed for optimal performance, just like another Raise3D material from the same category, the Rigid 3K resin. The Tough 2K resin meets the stringent demands of precision prototyping and reliable end-use applications, and delivers a robust and enduring solution for efficient and high quality additive manufacturing.

With properties akin to ABS, Tough 2K Resin showcases impressive strength and rigidity. The tensile strength of 45 MPa, an elongation at break of 35 %, an Izod notched impact of 31 J/m, Young's modulus of 2158 MPa and a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 68°C at 0.45 MPa results in durable, resilient and heat resistant parts suitable for diverse applications such as sturdy prototypes, durable housings and enclosures, end-use parts, jigs, fixtures, and indispensable manufacturing aids.

The Raise3D DF2 Solution for DLP resin 3D printing

The ideal equipment for the 3D printing of the Raise3D Tough 2K resin is the Raise3D DF2 solution comprising of the DF2 DLP 3D printer, the auto-feeding station, and the DF Wash and DF Cure post-processing devices. The Raise3D DF2 solution provides swift printing, seamless surfaces, accuracy, and dependability for engineering prototypes, aids in manufacturing, and low-volume production. Unlike the complex DLP process in other comparable systems in the market, the intelligent build plate, coupled with an RFID tag, and the straightforward operation of these machines streamline the entire printing, washing, and post-curing stages, guaranteeing uniformity and effectiveness.
