PolySupport for PA12 is a support material specially designed by Polymaker for Nylon 12 filaments, offering full compatibility and superior performance in technical and engineering 3D prints. Its advanced formulation ensures perfect adhesion to Nylon 12, guaranteeing solid cohesion during the printing process, while also allowing manual removal without the need for solvents or special tools. This ensures clean finishes and more efficient post-processing, optimizing time and reducing material waste.

This removable support is especially recommended for prints that require precision and strength, such as engineering parts, functional prototypes, and complex models using Nylon 12 filaments or long-chain nylons. Its design allows for firm support structures that separate easily, preventing damage to printed parts and maintaining the integrity of the base filament.

PolySupport for PA12 is not suitable for other types of nylons, such as PolyMide CoPA, as its compatibility is optimized exclusively for Nylon 12 and similar long-chain filaments. Choosing a specific support for each filament type ensures reliable, precise, and repeatable results in any technical or engineering 3D printing project.

For the best results when printing with PolySupport for PA12, it is recommended to use a dual-nozzle 3D printer, such as an IDEX or Tool Changer setup. This prevents clogs when printing two types of material with a single nozzle, ensuring a consistent flow and high-quality results.

A fully metal hotend capable of reaching 270°C or higher is required to ensure the material melts properly and adheres optimally to Nylon 12 during printing. This is crucial for creating firm, easily removable support structures.

Aside from these points, PolySupport™ for PA12 has no special requirements: no enclosed chamber or hardened nozzle is needed, simplifying the printing process and making it accessible for a wide range of technical and engineering 3D printers.

Following these tips ensures an efficient printing process, with strong, removable supports and clean finishes on parts printed with Nylon 12 or long-chain filaments.
