Snapmaker rotary module

Snapmaker 2.0 - 3 in 1 and Snapmaker Artisan are multifunctional modular devices that include three modules that make it:

• FDM 3D printer.
• CNC machining machine.
• Laser engraving and cutting machine.

The 3D printing module turns the Snapmaker 2.0 3-in-1 and Snapmaker Artisan into a powerful FDM technology 3D printer with which the user can manufacture parts from a multitude of materials. With the Snapmaker CNC machining module, you can carve or cut a variety of materials, giving incredible results, while with the laser engraving and cutting module, you can laser engrave and cut a multitude of materials such as paper, plywood, leather, acrylic, cardboard, paper, fabric and even food such as biscuits and coconuts.

These three modules are included as standard with Snapmaker 2.0/Artisan. However, Snapmaker is developing new modules and accessories to make the Snapmaker printers an all-in-one manufacturing solution to tackle any creative project.

The Snapmaker rotary module is an extra tool compatible with the Snapmaker 2.0 and Snapmaker Artisan CNC machining and laser engraving and cutting modules. Combined with these modules, the rotary module enables high-precision 4-axis rotary milling or laser engraving on a curved surface.

The rotary module achieves ultra-fine machining without losing any detail and supports a variety of materials such as wood, plastic, bamboo, leather, fabric, non-transparent acrylics, etc. Depending on whether it is combined with the CNC machining module or the laser engraving and cutting module, it will be compatible with one material or another.

The rotary module achieves a continuous 360° rotation and a maximum angular velocity of 45° per second. This, combined with its high precision, enables the creation of high-quality, detailed three-dimensional parts in record time.

The maximum material dimensions depend on the Snapmaker model used:

• A250: The rotary module accepts objects up to 70 mm in length and 68 mm in radius.
• A350: The rotary module accepts objects up to 170 mm in length and 68 mm in radius using the tailstock, or 225 mm in length and 68 mm in radius without the tailstock.

Thanks to the three-jaw clamping piece, the material is securely clamped during machining or laser engraving.
