ABShot S9 - Dry sandblasting cabinet

The S9 sandblasting booth was designed by ABShot for surface finishing processes in additive manufacturing. Sandblasting machines use abrasive media propelled at high speed to remove residues, smooth surfaces, and enhance part aesthetics and performance. This model is suitable for blasting medium-sized components such as engine parts, crankcases, and other mechanical assemblies.

It offers a spacious work area of 1200 x 900 x 1800 mm and consumes 1000 l/min of compressed air at 6 Atm, ensuring powerful and efficient performance. Constructed from 20/10 steel sheet with an epoxy-painted finish, the booth includes two side doors for easy access. A watertight safety glass window allows clear observation during operation, while integrated sleeves ensure safe manual handling.

The air circuit features a filter-pressure regulator and a solenoid valve for operating the sandblasting gun, controlled by an electric pedal. The blasting gun is equipped with a boron carbide nozzle (Ø 8 mm). An antistatic suction hose is included, while additional external suction (KRT vacuum cleaner ref. 12499) is required for dust extraction.

Optional accessories further enhance its versatility, including a door with a rotating basket for automatic sandblasting of small parts, a trolley on guides with a rotary table, and external guides for trolley extraction. An abrasive recovery cyclone can also be integrated to improve efficiency and reduce abrasive consumption.
