ABShot S6 - Dry sandblasting cabinet

The S6 sandblasting booth from ABShot is designed for surface finishing processes in additive manufacturing. Sandblasting machines use abrasive media propelled at high speed to remove residues, smooth surfaces, and enhance part aesthetics and performance. With a work area of 1000 x 700 x 1600 mm, the S6 model is suitable for blasting medium-sized components such as engine parts, crankcases, and mechanical assemblies. It consumes 1000 l/min of compressed air at 6 Atm, ensuring powerful and consistent performance.

The booth is constructed from 20/10 steel sheet with an epoxy-painted finish for durability and corrosion resistance. It features a left-side door, a watertight safety glass window for work observation, and integrated sleeves for safe and precise manual handling. The air circuit includes a filter-pressure regulator and a solenoid valve for operating the sandblasting gun, controlled by an electric pedal. The blasting gun comes with a boron carbide nozzle (Ø 8 mm).

An antistatic suction hose is included while external suction (KRT vacuum cleaner ref. 12499) must be provided by the user for dust extraction. Optional accessories enhance functionality, including a door with a rotating basket for automatic sandblasting of small parts, a trolley on guides with a rotary table, and external guides for trolley extraction. An abrasive recovery cyclone can also be added, improving efficiency and reducing abrasive consumption.
