Sandblaster - Sandblast booth
Although one of the advantages of SLS printing is that post-processing not require to remove supports, as is the case with SLA and FDM printing, but cleaning must be carried out to remove excess of unsintered powder that may remain adhered to the part's surface or deposited inside the holes.
To carry out this cleaning in the most efficient way, it is necessary to apply compressed air or sometimes sandblasting. In order to facilitate this task, Sinterit offers, as a complement to its Lisa and Lisa Pro printers, Sinterit Sandblaster, a compressed air booth and sandblasting with everything necessary to leave the printed parts ready for use.
This compact cabin has a working volume of 410 x 310 x 200 mm and a maximum working pressure of 8 bar. Among the characteristics of this cabin stand out the control of the compressed air by foot pedal or the ability to regulate the air pressure* between 6 and 8 bar by means of an accessible regulator.
This cabin can be used only with compressed air or with abrasive material. For this purpose, it has a tank with a capacity for 5 Kg of 200 µm glass spheres.
Sinterit Sandblaster not only helps to clean and polish printed parts, but also, by processing parts inside a closed booth, it helps to keep the workspace clean.
This makes it an essential complement in those areas that cannot have adequate spaces for the post-processing of the pieces, such as educational environments, R&D&I laboratories, small architecture and design studios ...
