Anycubic Photon Ultra - DLP 3D printer

The Photon Ultra is a DLP resin 3D printer from the Anycubic portfolio of high quality affordable but capable printers for domestic use. The Photon Ultra 3D printer is a DLP resin printer that offers superior level of detail in comparison with LCD printers. A DLP projector can deliver a highly uniform (up to 90 %) and concentrated light beam only to places where resin needs to be cured. This ensures incredibly crisp detail without blurry edges or light leaks.

One of the key advantages offered by the Photon Ultra 3D printer is that its light source doesn't require being replaced as often as in LCD printers. The DLP technology prolongs the lifespan of the light source to over 20000 hours, 10 times more than any LCD monochrome screen. Thus, Photon Ultra speeds up the printing process to just 1.5 seconds per layer, even faster than the 2.5 seconds per layer offered by Photon D2. Successful print are also ensured by the implementation of a specially designed laser-engraved printing platform. The checkboard pattern enhances adhesion of the model to the build plate, thus increasing success rate.

To make Photon Ultra truly safe for any environment, Anycubic has equipped it with a detachable upper cover constructed from a material that effectively shields against 99.95% of UV rays. This transparent cover enables users to securely monitor the printing process.
