Extruder and Bed Temperature

The optimal extruder temperature for this carbon fiber PLA filament is 365°C to 390°C. For the best adhesion and dimensional stability, the bed can be kept between 140°C and 160°C. While printing without an enclosure is possible, having a controlled environment improves consistency and reduces warping on large parts.

Nozzle Specifications

It is recommended to use a hardened steel nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.4 mm. This ensures uniform flow and prevents clogs, guaranteeing a professional surface finish even on prints with complex details.

Layer Height and Details

For a balance between speed and quality, a minimum layer height of 0.10 mm is recommended and preferably 0.25 mm or higher for faster prints. This maintains dimensional accuracy and surface sharpness, highlighting the natural beauty of carbon fiber reinforced PLA.

Filament Drying
