The 3DXMAX PC, a technical polycarbonate filament for professional 3D printing, requires high-temperature settings to achieve its maximum mechanical and thermal performance. For stable extrusion and superior layer adhesion, it is recommended to set the extruder between 280 °C and 310 °C, with higher ranges of 365 °C to 390 °C possible on high-temperature industrial systems.

The heated bed should be maintained between 110 °C and 120 °C, extendable to 140 °C–160 °C for large parts or complex geometries, to minimize warping and improve first-layer adhesion. Using a heated chamber is recommended, as it stabilizes the thermal environment and reduces internal stresses, improving dimensional accuracy.

It is advisable to use nozzles of at least 0.4 mm and work with layer heights of 0.10 mm or higher to achieve an optimal balance between detail, strength, and productivity. To avoid moisture-related defects, the filament should be dried at 65 °C for 4 hours, or at 120 °C for more than 4 hours under demanding conditions, ensuring clean, uniform, and professional-quality prints.
