Filament Pre-Drying: The PA6-GF Nylon 6 with glass fiber filament requires proper drying before 3D printing. It is recommended to use 80 ℃ for 8 to 12 hours in a dryer or 90-100 ℃ for 10 to 12 hours on a heated bed. Do not exceed 100 ℃ to avoid spool deformation or melting.

Storage and Moisture Protection: Keeping the filament in a airtight container with desiccant during printing helps maintain its mechanical properties and prevents moisture absorption issues.

Reducing Warping: To minimize warping on large parts with high infill, it is recommended to use enclosed 3D printers and apply adhesive on the print bed to improve initial adhesion and ensure precise results.

Optimizing Print Quality: Following engineering filament technical guidelines ensures durable, accurate, and high-strength 3D prints for industrial, automotive, and functional prototype applications.

Post-Processing Tips for PA6-GF Filament

Support Removal: Remove support structures within 2 hours after printing to prevent adhesion due to moisture. If adhesion occurs, drying the part facilitates removal and maintains print integrity.

Part Annealing: Place the print in a convection oven between 80 and 130 ℃ for 5 to 12 hours to improve model strength and rigidity. Effectiveness depends on part structure, size, and design conditions, as some parts may deform during annealing.
