The High-Speed PLA filament from Panchroma is formulated to achieve much higher flow rates and speeds than conventional PLA, producing finished parts in significantly less time. This evolution allows faster printing without losing detail, ensuring smooth surfaces and stable results even in complex designs.

ReFill Format: sustainability without compromising quality

In addition to the traditional spool format, High-Speed PLA is also available in ReFill (spool-less) format, an option that reduces plastic usage and allows the use of Polymaker reusable spools or even a 3D-printed spool. Users can freely download and print their own Polymaker Master Spool, maintaining full material compatibility and contributing to more responsible consumption.

A material designed for creativity

From miniatures and cosplay accessories to functional prototypes, architectural models, or decorative pieces, this PLA stands out for its versatility. Its ability to deliver sharp details and polished finishes makes it a reliable choice for projects where visual appearance and precision are key.

Stable printing without tangles or jams

Thanks to a tidy winding process and a formulation that prevents material expansion, the risk of extruder jams is significantly reduced. This ensures a consistent filament flow, ideal for long prints where reliability is essential.

Vibrant colors that enhance every design

With a palette of 28 intense and uniform colors, each part comes to life straight from the printer. Smooth and glossy finishes reduce the need for post-processing, achieving a professional look in every print.

The PLA filament from Panchroma offers a recommended printing range between 190 °C and 230 °C, ensuring a constant and stable flow throughout the process. The heated bed should be set between 25 °C and 60 °C for good first-layer adhesion and to reduce the risk of warping.

Printing speed and cooling

This high-performance PLA allows printing at speeds up to 350 mm/s, maintaining accuracy and detail definition. To optimize the finish of each piece, the part cooling fan should remain on throughout the print, promoting fast and even cooling.

Retraction settings according to the extruder type

Retraction settings depend directly on the extrusion system. On printers with a direct drive, a retraction distance of 1 mm at a speed of 20 mm/s is recommended. On Bowden or indirect drive systems, best results are obtained with a distance of 3 mm and a speed of 40 mm/s. These values help prevent unwanted stringing and improve edge definition.

Drying Panchroma PLA filament

If the Panchroma PLA filament has absorbed moisture, a drying process at 55 °C for 6 hours is recommended. This step is essential to remove bubbles, improve layer adhesion, and maintain surface quality.
