GreenyPro from Spectrum is a high-temperature PLA that stands out for offering superior impact resistance compared to standard PLA filaments, making it the ideal choice when parts need to withstand impacts, vibrations, or mechanical stress. Its high flexural strength ensures that parts maintain stiffness under load, preventing deformations. These properties make it a perfect filament for functional parts, spare parts, or structural components where durability is key.

Advanced Thermal Stability with 160 °C VICAT Temperature

When working in hot environments is required, GreenyPro impresses with a VICAT-type thermal resistance of 160 °C, widely superior to that of many conventional PLAs. This thermal stability allows it to be used in applications where other filaments soften or deform, without compromising the integrity of the part.

Elegant Finish and Precise Dimensional Control

The semi-matte finish offered by GreenyPro provides a professional appearance, balancing the visual with the functional. The diameter control —with a tolerance of ± 0.03 mm— and the individual spool analysis (ovality, standard deviation) ensure dimensional uniformity, reducing failures due to filament irregularities.

Easy Printing, Minimal Warping, and Compatibility

GreenyPro has been designed to minimize the warping common in technical materials, facilitating layer adhesion and reducing extreme retractions. Its ease of printing makes it compatible with traditional FDM printers, without the need for sophisticated modifications. Its operational versatility positions it as a reliable resource for a wide range of machines and projects.

Integrated Sustainability: Biodegradable according to DIN EN ISO 14855

Conscious of the environmental impact, GreenyPro is biodegradable under industrial conditions in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 14855 standard. This adds an ecological dimension, without sacrificing technical performance, and positions the filament as a respectful option compared to purely synthetic materials.

Recommended Applications for Advanced 3D Printing

GreenyPro is ideal for functional prototypes, mechanical components, high-demand conceptual parts, and spare parts that require continuous resistance. Thanks to its thermal and mechanical stability, it can be used in more demanding environments than typical PLA.

Conclusion: Choosing GreenyPro is Elevating Project Standards

By opting for GreenyPro, you are choosing a high-performance filament that combines mechanical resistance, thermal stability, professional finishes, printing reliability, and a more responsible environmental footprint. This material redefines what is expected of a demanding 3D printing filament, turning ideas into solid, durable, and high-functional-value parts.

For optimal results with the GreenyPro filament, follow these technical recommendations to ensure durable, precise, and high-quality prints.

Printing Temperature

Set the extruder temperature between 190 °C and 220 °C. Lower temperatures (190 °C–200 °C) reduce oozing and improve surface finish, while higher temperatures (210 °C–220 °C) enhance layer adhesion and mechanical strength, ideal for functional parts.

Bed Temperature

Although GreenyPro can be printed without a heated bed, a bed temperature between 0 °C and 45 °C is recommended. For better adhesion on surfaces like glass or PEI, the bed can be set to 55 °C, avoiding higher temperatures that could make part removal difficult.

Ventilation

Use the layer fan ventilation at 100% to ensure proper cooling, especially on parts with fine details or bridges.

Wall Thickness and Layer Height

Wall thickness: between 0.40 mm and 2.70 mm.
Layer height: between 0.05 mm and 0.30 mm.
These ranges provide a balance between structural strength and detailed resolution.

Printing Speed

GreenyPro is versatile in terms of printing speed, recommended between 40 mm/s and 150 mm/s. For detailed or high-precision parts, a lower speed is suggested; for rapid prototypes or less detailed parts, the speed can be increased without compromising quality.

Enclosed Chamber and Filament Drying

It is not necessary to use an enclosed chamber or filament dryer for GreenyPro. However, if the filament has been exposed to moisture, it is recommended to store it in a dry environment or use a filament dryer to prevent printing issues.

Adhesive Agents

Although not essential, using adhesives such as Dimafix, 3DLac, or Magigoo can improve first-layer adhesion and reduce the risk of warping, especially on large parts or complex geometries.

Additional Tips

  • Bed leveling: Ensure the bed is leveled for proper PLA filament adhesion.
  • Extruder maintenance: Keep the nozzle clean and replace it if worn.
  • Filament storage: Store filament in a dry place to prevent moisture absorption.
  • Use of rafts: Rafts help improve adhesion on objects with irregular bases.
