The PLA Premium filament from Spectrum is a high-quality filament made from polylactide, an aliphatic polymer known for its complete biodegradability. The carefully selected color concentrates ensure vibrant and consistent hues across a broad spectrum, enhancing the visual appeal of printed objects. Additionally, the optimized dye base used in filament extrusion guarantees excellent printing efficiency and strong adhesion to build platforms in FDM/FFF 3D printers.

Once opened, the Spectrum filaments must be stored properly to prevent moisture absorption from the air. Filament is best stored in a hermetically sealed bag with desiccant, in a vacuum-sealed container or in a smart filament container. If the filament absorbs too much moisture, it should be dried in a filament dryer in accordance with the settings recommended for the material in question.

In order to avoid extrusion problems and obtain high quality parts with the Spectrum filaments, it is highly recommended to use the printing parameters (extrusion temperature, bed temperature, printing speed, fan settings) provided in each material's respective technical datasheet. It is also crucial to follow any other recommendations such as the use of an abrasion-resistant nozzle. The datasheets can be found in the Attachments section.

It is strongly recommended to use standard safety equipment during printing and post-processing of parts 3D printed with Spectrum filaments: safety goggles, gloves, breathing apparatus and protective clothing as required.
