The powder must have a high homogeneity, without aggregates or impurities. Also, the mix between reused material and refreshment material should be as uniform as possible. In this way it is achieved not only that the print quality is optimal, but also the mechanical properties of the printed part.

Achieving the highest degree of homogeneity in the material, as well as correct screening, can be difficult to achieve with manual means, in addition to being a waste of time and human resources.
