The AmideX Nylon 6-66 filament from 3DXTECH stands out as one of the most advanced materials in FDM/FFF 3D printing for mechanical, industrial, and engineering applications. Its optimized copolymer formulation delivers an outstanding combination of mechanical strength, thermal stability, durability, and excellent printability—key factors for users seeking high-performance nylon 3D filament with repeatable results and professional-grade quality.

Thanks to its easy printability, this technical nylon filament minimizes warping, improves layer adhesion, and enables the production of functional parts with precise tolerances. It is therefore an ideal solution for functional prototyping, jigs and fixtures, gears, housings, mechanical supports, and components exposed to friction or continuous loads, clearly outperforming conventional plastics.

High mechanical strength and extreme durability

With a tensile strength of 60 MPa (8700 PSI), AmideX Nylon 6-66 stands out among engineering filaments for 3D printing for its ability to withstand prolonged structural stress. Its excellent resistance to wear, abrasion, and mechanical fatigue makes it one of the best technical filaments for parts subject to impact or constant movement.

This superior mechanical performance enables the production of end-use parts ready for real-world applications, reducing rework and optimizing manufacturing times. Industries such as automotive, robotics, industrial maintenance, and advanced manufacturing rely on this nylon 6-66 copolymer as a robust, reliable, and cost-effective solution.

Professional chemical resistance and thermal stability

The material’s advanced formulation significantly enhances chemical resistance to oils, greases, fuels, and industrial agents, outperforming many traditional 3D printing filaments. This advantage expands its usability in demanding technical environments where maximum durability and stability are required.

Its thermal properties further reinforce performance, with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 85 °C and a melting temperature (Tm) of 200 °C, ensuring dimensional stability and reliability under moderate heat and continuous operation. This allows the production of heat-resistant, mechanically robust functional components without compromising quality.

Compatibility with automatic filament management systems

The 750 g spool format meets the standards of leading automatic feeding and multi-material management systems on the market, ensuring seamless integration into professional workflows. It is fully compatible with solutions such as Bambu Lab AMS, Creality CFS, and Anycubic ACE Pro, enabling automation, fast material changes, and continuous production with engineering-grade technical filaments.

Certified quality and guaranteed consistency

Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification, this filament ensures strict quality control, traceability, and batch-to-batch consistency. Each spool maintains stable physical and mechanical properties—essential for companies, R&D centers, and professionals who demand absolute repeatability in every 3D print.

Chemical resistance

Other

HS Code 3916.9

Extrusion temperature

Set the extruder between 255 °C and 275 °C to ensure proper nylon melting, improved layer adhesion, and maximum mechanical strength in functional parts and engineering components.

Heated bed

Use 60–70 °C on the build plate to improve first-layer adhesion and reduce warping or deformation, especially on large or technical geometries.

Chamber and hardware

A heated chamber is not required. A minimum 0.4 mm nozzle is recommended. The material has no special requirements, allowing easy integration into standard and professional FDM printers.

Layer height

Work with 0.10 mm or higher to balance detail, speed, and structural strength, promoting stronger interlayer bonding.

Filament drying

Pre-dry at 65 °C for 4 hours or, in humid environments, 90 °C for 4 hours. Dry nylon improves surface finish, prevents bubbles, and ensures better mechanical performance.
