The blue magneto-detectable (MDT) nylon 11 pellets are a 3D FGF printing material used for direct extrusion or filament production. The blue MDT PA11 pellets have a particle size of 0.05-0.10 mm. It should be noted that the polyamide material absorbs water-based dyes very well, so it could even be dyed, although this is not recommended if the part is intended to maintain food contact properties.

A unique characteristic of this material is the very small particle size, which makes the pellets look like powder. However, these blue PA11 pellets are intended for FGF 3D printing and cannot be used in SLS 3D printing equipment, as there is a risk of damaging the SLS 3D printer.

The best equipment for processing blue MDT PA11 pellets is the Mahor V4 pellet extruder or the Tumaker 3D printers or Piocreat for direct extrusion. The Tumaker 3D printers in the dual extrusion variant are especially suitable for printing with PA11 pellets as support material, even in combination with filament. It is also possible to produce filament from the food-grade blue PA11 pellets using the Felfil EVO extruder.
