One of the key advantages of the G5Ultra is its ability to use cost-effective thermoplastic pellet feedstocks. This technology allows for a significant reduction in material costs, with savings of up to 10 times compared to traditional filament-based 3D printing methods. The printer supports pellets with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 5 mm, and it can work with a variety of materials, including PLA, PC, PC-CF, ABS, ABS-CF, PETG, PETG-GF, PP, TPU, and PA-CF, as well as modified and composite materials.

A notable feature of the G5Ultra 3D printer is its ability to use shredded recycled plastic, processed to the correct diameter, contributing to sustainability and a circular economy. This reduces reliance on virgin materials, helping minimize waste and environmental impact. By repurposing plastic waste into valuable feedstock, the printer offers a cost-effective, eco-friendly solution without compromising print quality or performance.

The G5Ultra is equipped with a high-quality screw extruder, which includes segmented heat zones for improved material processing. This segmented design consists of an upper zone with a maximum extrusion temperature of 360 ºC and a lower zone with a maximum extrusion temperature of 420 ºC. The printer also boasts a new-generation nozzle that offers compatibility with a range of diameters, from 0.4 mm to 3.0 mm. Standard nozzle diameters are 0.8 mm, 1 mm, and 2 mm, catering to a wide range of print resolutions and speeds. The printer also features a quick discharge function, allowing users to rapidly purge remaining material and seamlessly switch to a new material, minimizing downtime and material waste.

For material handling, the G5Ultra is equipped with a 3-liter hopper, with a transparent window for easy material visibility. The printer also includes a material shortage alarm with a pop-up reminder, ensuring that users are notified when material is running low. In addition, the resume function, powered by automatically stored printing records, allows the printer to continue printing from where it left off in case of an interruption, minimizing the risk of failed prints. With a printing success rate of over 95%, the G5Ultra is designed to operate reliably even in busy industrial environments, where precision and efficiency are paramount.

The laser-based 64-point bed leveling system reduces leveling time and increses accuracy

The G5Ultra's bed leveling system is one of its standout features, utilizing intelligent laser ranging with 64-point bed leveling technology. This laser sensor-based, non-contact measurement significantly reduces leveling time and enhances accuracy, ensuring that the printing surface is perfectly aligned for optimal print quality. The heated bed reaches temperatures up to 120 ºC, and it quickly heats to 60 ºC in just 5 minutes and to 90 ºC in 8 minutes. The PEI magnetic build platform is another innovation, allowing models to be easily removed thanks to its gentle bend, promoting efficiency and ease of use.
