Designed for high-performance printing with abrasive materials and technical composites, this *High Flow* nozzle combines the extreme hardness of tungsten carbide with an optimized geometry for faster and more stable extrusion.

With a hardness of HRA 90 —compared to ~74 for hardened steel— this nozzle offers a service life up to 50% longer when printing with fiber-reinforced filaments such as PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PAHT-CF and other high-performance composites.

The *High Flow* version is designed to significantly increase extrusion rate, especially with larger diameters:

  • 0.6 mm: Ideal for functional parts requiring speed and strength, such as industrial or structural components.
  • 0.8 mm: Maximum productivity. Recommended for fast printing of large parts, molds, tooling and engineering prototypes.

By extruding more material per second, it reduces print times without compromising structural integrity —provided appropriate parameters are used.

Quick and safe change design

The hotend separates cleanly into two modules —thermal and electronic— via a lever-release mechanism. This enables quick nozzle replacement without the need for specialized tools.

Important: Ensure the hotend is completely cold before handling. Avoid touching the heater block to prevent burns.

Technical recommendations

  • For AMS multicolor printing, use of the fixed hotend (right) is recommended.
  • Printing with support materials on the second hotend performs better with the lifting hotend (left).
  • Highly abrasive filaments (PPS-CF, PPA-CF, etc.) should preferably be used in the lifting hotend for improved stability and durability.
