The official Laser Protective Goggles from Bambu Lab are safety glasses specifically designed to protect the eyes from laser radiation emitted by the brand’s laser modules, such as the H2D and H2S models. These accessories are an essential safety complement when working with laser cutting and engraving systems, providing optical filtration that drastically reduces the transmitted beam power through the lenses.

These goggles incorporate lenses that offer a high level of attenuation for specific wavelength ranges: in the visible spectrum around 450 nm (corresponding to the blue laser emitted by the H2D and H2S modules), the protection level reaches OD5+, reducing the transmitted laser power to one hundred-thousandth of the original. For wavelengths in the near-infrared range between 900 nm and 1100 nm, the protection level is OD6+, meaning the transmitted power is reduced to one millionth of its initial value, significantly lowering the risk of glare and eye damage.

The design of these goggles is aimed at providing comfort during prolonged use, featuring a lightweight plastic frame and tinted lenses that help filter harmful radiation without excessively compromising overall vision. The set is compatible with Bambu Lab’s H2D and H2S laser modules, making it suitable as a mandatory protective measure when operating with these accessories. Each package includes the laser protective goggles and a cleaning cloth to keep the lenses free of dust and fingerprints, thus helping preserve the optical filtering effectiveness over time.

General information

Manufacturer Bambu Lab
  1. Always wear the glasses during laser operations, especially when working with compatible laser modules such as H2D or H2S, to prevent possible eye injuries caused by direct or reflected laser radiation.
  2. Put on the glasses before turning on the laser module and keep them on throughout the entire engraving or cutting operation.
  3. Check that the lenses are clean and undamaged before each use, as scratches or dirt may reduce visibility or affect protection.
  4. Do not look directly at the laser beam or intense reflections even while wearing the glasses, as they are designed to reduce laser power, not to allow direct observation of the laser spot.
  5. Use only with lasers within the protection range (approx. 200–460 nm and 900–1100 nm) to ensure the appropriate safety level.
  6. Store the glasses in a protected place when not in use and clean them with the included cleaning cloth to keep the lenses in good condition.
  7. Do not modify or replace the lenses with non-certified ones, as this may compromise protection against laser radiation.
