The Laser Grid Panel for Bambu Lab is an official accessory designed for H2 laser models. It facilitates the processing of flexible materials or small parts, offering improved hold and control, which optimizes cutting, engraving, and other operations within the laser work area.

The kit includes two stainless-steel metal grid panels and six small holding pins to secure small pieces onto the grid. Made of black steel, the panel is heat-resistant and durable, with dimensions of 328 × 143 × 28 mm and a total weight of 0.655 kg. Installation is simple and allows for magnetic and modular fastening on the laser base, enabling quick transitions between jobs.

This accessory is ideal for cutting or engraving small parts such as die-cuts, wood details, leather, acrylic, or decorative panels, where precision and fixation are essential. It is recommended to clean the laser base before placing the grid, correctly position the pins according to the material size, adjust software settings based on thickness and material type, and clean the grid after each use to maintain accuracy and extend its lifespan.

Magnetic installation: the panel can be magnetically attached to the laser base or the existing sheet assembly on the work platform. Ensure that the panel is firmly placed before starting work to prevent slipping or vibrations.

Use of mounting pins: use the included material pins to secure small parts or flexible sheets. Correct placement of these pins helps keep the material flat and stable during laser processing, especially in precision engraving tasks.

Positioning the workpiece: place objects to be processed so they are centered and stable on the panel grid. Avoid positioning pieces near the edges if not properly secured, as this may affect cutting or engraving accuracy.

Operational recommendations

  • Pre-adjustment: before starting a laser job, confirm that the panel is properly integrated with the sheet pack or base and that the mounting pins are correctly inserted.
  • Use with suitable materials: use small or flexible materials that fit well on the panel grid; for large or rigid parts, evaluate if another type of fixture or worktable is needed.
  • Level verification: ensure the panel surface is as flat as possible; irregularities can affect laser focus and engraving/cutting uniformity.
  • Safety precautions: always operate the laser following safety standards, avoiding direct eye exposure and using appropriate protection.
