The new WASP extruder with SPITFIRE X System integrates an advanced heating element capable of reaching nozzle temperatures up to 350°C, enabling the printing of high‑performance technical materials.

Quick nozzle change with a single screw

The SPITFIRE X system is engineered for versatility: the nozzle can be replaced by a single turn of a screw to suit different printing requirements and nozzle diameters.

Hardened high‑flow steel nozzles

Nozzles are manufactured from hardened superfast steel with electro‑nickel plating and a surface treatment designed for high flow. This combination provides excellent wear resistance and permits reliable printing of abrasive materials without degradation of performance.

Compatibility notes

  • Standard Spitfire cartridges are not compatible with the Spitfire X extruder.
  • Spitfire X nozzles are not suitable for use with standard Spitfire extruders.

Compatibility with Delta WASP printers

The Spitfire X extruder is compatible with all Delta WASP models that mount Spitfire Black or Red extruders.
