Two versions available: Q2 and Q2 Combo

The Q2 is available in two versions: the standard Q2 and the Q2 Combo, designed for those seeking a more advanced and versatile experience. The Combo version includes compatibility with the QIDI Box system for multicolor and multi-material printing, similar to the AMS from Bambu Lab, allowing efficient filament changes and the creation of complex models without constant manual intervention.

The Q2 is also available with a module that allows multi-material and multicolor printing

Next-generation automatic leveling

The next-generation leveling sensor operates directly from the nozzle, eliminating deviations and ensuring perfect first layers. This plug-and-play system guarantees accuracy and consistency regardless of the print surface or environmental vibrations.

The QIDI Q2 printer ensures perfect layers with precise, deviation-free accuracy.

Heated chamber and improved layer adhesion

The second-generation active chamber reaches up to 65 °C, improving interlayer adhesion and enabling the printing of demanding materials such as ABS, PC, ABS-GF, and composite filaments. The hardened steel nozzle and heat dissipation system allow temperatures of up to 370 °C, ideal for high-performance filaments such as PPS-CF.

The QIDI Q2 features a second-generation heated chamber that reaches 65ºC and maintains ideal conditions for printing high-temperature filaments.

High speed and smooth surfaces

Thanks to the high-density 1.5GT belts and linear rails, the Q2 offers precise and fast movements, reducing vibrations and surface artifacts. Combined with intelligent resonance control, it delivers smoother surfaces than any printer in its class.

Advanced safety and reliability

The Q2 is equipped with multiple sensors that monitor temperature, power, and filament flow, automatically shutting down the printer in case of anomalies. Additionally, it captures 99.5% of particles and dust and features flame-retardant materials, complying with international safety standards to ensure a safe and reliable environment.

Versatility for creators and professionals

From detailed prototypes to complex artistic projects, the Q2 allows work with a variety of materials and colors thanks to its multicolor and multi-material compatibility. The Combo version maximizes efficiency and creativity, delivering consistent, professional-quality results with every print.

The Q2 3D printer is the ideal choice for those seeking innovation, precision, and versatility in a single device, taking the three-dimensional printing experience to the next level.

Ensure that the printer is installed in a level, stable, and vibration-free environment. As indicated in the installation manual, the machine features a CoreXY structure with linear axes and dual Z-axis lead screws.

Make sure the print chamber is closed and the ambient temperature is controlled. The QIDI Q2 includes a heated chamber up to ~65 °C for engineering materials, improving layer adhesion and reducing warping.

Use the automatic leveling system and properly calibrated nozzle sensor before starting each job. According to the manual, the nozzle itself acts as the leveling sensor, which means it must be clean and free of residue.

Verify that the filaments used are compatible with the machine: the QIDI Q2 supports standard and engineering materials —PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PA, PC, carbon fiber/glass composites— thanks to its nozzle capable of reaching up to 370 °C.

Perform regular maintenance on the equipment: clean the build plate, remove filament residue, and lubricate Z-axis screws and linear shafts. The manual states that “regular maintenance of the printer is essential” to preserve system accuracy.

Protect the printer when not in use for extended periods: disconnect the power supply and cover the machine to prevent dust or moisture accumulation.

Adjust print parameters appropriately according to the selected material, speed, and flow. Although the Q2 supports very high speeds (up to 600 mm/s as advertised), in practice the speed should be adjusted based on nozzle diameter, material type, and desired quality.

Regularly check the belt tension, bearing condition, and frame tightness: since the machine is designed for high accelerations, any looseness or instability can affect precision.

Before switching to a new material or composite (for example, fiber-filled filaments), purge the nozzle and clean any remaining previous material to avoid cross-contamination or hotend damage.
