The Extreme 2000 PRO is designed to be fully compatible with a BOFA air filter system (optional), which can be conveniently mounted on the machine’s side. The filter automatically activates upon print completion, purifying the air inside the printer before the doors are opened. This filtration system is a required addition when purchasing the Extreme 2000 PRO. For seamless remote management, the printer offers connectivity options like WiFi, USB, and Ethernet. It is also paired with the open-source slicing software Simplify3D (V5), providing improved usability and customization options for enhanced workflow integration.

Dual-Feed extruder system

A key highlight of the Builder Extreme 2000 PRO is its in-house developed Dual-Feed direct drive extruder, which uses a single nozzle to print with two materials. This advanced system is engineered for uninterrupted 24/7 operation and allows for smooth filament transitions, provided the materials have similar melting temperatures. This configuration overcomes typical issues found in traditional dual-nozzle systems, such as oozing and overheating.

The innovative dual-feed design of the Builder Extreme 2000 PRO supports the creation of complex structures using easily removable support materials, improving the precision and quality of final prints. It also enables color mixing within a single print, allowing for smooth gradients and more visually appealing outcomes. Moreover, the printer can be configured to operate in Mono extruder mode, which is ideal for extended print jobs, minimizing the likelihood of filament depletion.

By utilizing two spools of the same material in a 50:50 ratio, users can effectively double the available filament for a single print job, which is especially advantageous for large-scale projects that demand significant material consumption. Additionally, the capability to mix colors within a single print greatly expands the creative possibilities of the Builder Extreme 2000 PRO, enabling the production of intricate, multicolored models without requiring any post-processing steps.

Continuous large-scale production

The Builder Extreme 2000 PRO is a highly capable industrial 3D printer specifically designed for large-scale production. Its advanced features allow for seamless transitions between materials and efficient multi-material printing, and the printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s and a maximum nozzle temperature of 250 ºC make the Builder Extreme 2000 PRO the printer optimized for high performance. The fully enclosed design not only enhances print quality but also reduces noise, making it suitable for continuous operation in various industrial settings.
