The printer's performance is further enhanced by a maximum nozzle temperature of 250 ºC, a bed temperature of up to 60 ºC, and a layer height resolution ranging from 0.2 to 0.9 mm. It supports a wide variety of 1.75 mm filaments, including PLA, PVA, wood-infused filaments, bronzefill, PET, and flexible materials, making it an excellent choice for diverse applications. The filament slot has room for two filament spools for direct feeding into the extrusion system.

The Builder Extreme 1000 PRO is equipped with a host of advanced features that streamline the printing process and improve reliability. Its 7-inch touch display allows for intuitive operation, while automatic bed leveling ensures a perfect first layer every time. The printer also features a filament detection system that alerts users when the material is running low or has run out, preventing print failures and ensuring continuous operation.

Additionally, it is equipped with an emergency stop button for immediate halting of the printing process in case of unexpected issues, enhancing safety and control. In the event of a power outage, the built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system automatically saves the print status and resumes the job once power is restored, minimizing material waste and downtime. These features collectively contribute to the reliability and efficiency of the printing process, making it easier to manage long and complex print jobs with confidence.

The aluminum build plate provides a stable and durable surface for prints, and connectivity options via WiFi or USB make it easy to manage print jobs remotely. The printer comes with the open-source laminating software Simplify3D (V5). The on-board camera offers real-time monitoring, providing users with full control over the printing process. It is possible to equip the Extreme 1000 PRO printer with an optional air filter for a safer 3D printing workflow.

Dual-Feed extruder system

One of the standout features of the Builder Extreme 1000 PRO is its proprietary Dual-Feed extruder system, which eliminates the typical drawbacks associated with traditional dual-nozzle setups, such as oozing and overheating. By using a single nozzle to print two different materials, the printer is able to achieve seamless transitions between filaments as long as they share a similar melting temperature.

This allows for the printing of complex structures with support material that can be easily removed, enhancing the precision and quality of the final print. This unique extruder design also enables color mixing within a single print, allowing for gradual transitions and more aesthetically pleasing results. In addition to its Dual-Feed capabilities, the Builder Extreme 1000 PRO can be switched to a Mono extruder configuration, enabling longer print times without the risk of running out of filament.

By using two spools of the same material in a 50:50 ratio, users can effectively double the amount of filament available for a single print job. This feature is particularly useful for large projects that require extensive material use. The ability to mix colors within a single print further enhances the creative potential of the Builder Extreme 1000 PRO, providing users with the flexibility to produce complex, multicolored models without the need for post-processing.

Easy maintenance and reliability

Maintenance of the Builder Extreme 1000 PRO is straightforward and user-friendly, thanks to the modular design of its print head. The entire print head assembly can be easily removed from the machine, simplifying nozzle changes and routine upkeep. The included accessory kit provides everything needed to keep the printer in optimal condition, including 0.4, 0.8, and 1.2 mm nozzles and the necessary tools for maintenance. This level of accessibility and ease of use sets the Builder Extreme 1000 PRO apart from other large-format 3D printers, making it a preferred choice for professionals seeking a reliable, high-performance solution for large-scale 3D printing projects.

The Builder Extreme 1000 PRO offers significant benefits for large-scale 3D printing, combining industrial-grade capabilities with user-friendly features. Its spacious build volume and high-speed performance make it ideal for producing full-size prototypes, molds, and tooling, while the proprietary Dual-Feed extruder enables precise multi-material printing and color mixing within a single print. Advanced features like automatic bed leveling, filament detection, and a UPS system ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation. Easy maintenance and connectivity options further enhance its usability, making the Builder Extreme 1000 PRO a powerful and versatile tool for professionals in diverse industries.
