Creality CR-5 series - FDM 3D printer

Creality is a company specialized in the design and production of 3D printing-related products. The CR-5 Pro H 3D printer is a home 3D printer with a robust enclosed structure, an updated version of the CR-5 Pro, featuring more advanced characteristics than this model. This improved version has a higher printing temperature, reaching up to 300 ºC, along with high-power fans that promote efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, it includes a part that allows completely enclosing the printing space. These modifications allow for the use of a wider range of printing materials, even permitting the use of some technical materials that are usually very complex to employ in domestic FDM 3D printers.

The Creality CR-5 Pro H is a 3D printer designed to offer a generous build volume of 300 x 225 x 380 mm, allowing for the creation of sizable parts. Equipped with a Bowden extruder system, a fully metal "Sprite" dual gear direct extruder, and a 0.4 mm nozzle, it uses 1.75 mm filament to ensure precision and detail in prints.

The printer is controlled by ATMEGA 2560 electronics and features a 4.3-inch touchscreen for easy operation. Additionally, it includes a filament runout sensor, BL-Touch automatic leveling, a print resume function after a power outage, and a carborundum glass print surface, which improves adhesion and the quality of the first layers.

Regarding printing properties, the CR-5 Pro H can reach a maximum print speed of 100 mm/s and allows working with layers as fine as 0.1 mm, providing high resolution in finished parts. It can handle extrusion temperatures up to 300 ºC and its heated bed can reach 100 ºC, making it compatible with a wide variety of materials. The inclusion of a heated chamber helps maintain a stable temperature during the printing process, reducing the risk of warping in the parts.

The Creality CR-5 Pro H is compatible with several popular slicing programs like Cura, Repetier, Simplify 3D, and Slic3r, and can work with files in Obj, Stl, and Gcode formats.
