WiFi Box Creality3D

Creality is a company specialising in the design and production of 3D printing related products.

Wireless printing is becoming more and more prevalent, there are web interfaces for 3D printers such as OctoPrint, for example, which allows users to control and monitor all aspects of 3D printers, however, OctoPrint is difficult to set up and works only with Raspberry Pi, which is an extra cost as the user must purchase the Pi.

Although OctoPrint is very powerful, it is limited to the 3D printer area, the remote device must be located within the same network as the connected 3D printers. For this reason, Creality Wifi Box achieves the true meaning of wireless.

Creality launched a new product called the Creality Wifi Box available in two versions: Creality Wifi Box 1.0 and Creality Wifi Box 2.0. These devices connect to an FDM 3D printer and provide a wireless connection to your smartphone or tablet.

Creality Wifi Box 1.0

The Creality Wifi Box 1.0 allows you to connect the 3D printer to smart devices in a simple way. All you need to do is connect the Wifi Box 1.0 to a power adapter and to the Creality 3D printer via USB, download the Creality Cloud app on smart devices and add the Creality Wifi Box 1.0 to your account by scanning the QR code on the box. A network cable and a micro SD card (not included) are required for set-up.

When the Creality Wifi Box 1.0 is connected to wifi and linked to a smart device with internet access, the printer can be controlled from anywhere in the world at any time.

Creality Wifi Box 2.0 (with TF Card)

Creality Wifi Box 2.0 allows for real-time remote control and monitoring of the 3D printing process, including time-lapse photography automatically uploaded to the Creality Cloud library. This gives the user a full overview of the 3D printing process from anywhere in the world at any time.

The Wifi Box 2.0 can configure the network easily and quickly via Bluetooth connection, which is yet another enhancement in the user experience. With only one click the user can upload the printing log to the Creality Cloud, a feature that simplifies task management and maintenance activities.

The interface of the Wifi Box 2.0 is simple and user friendly, with 4 color lights to indicate connectivity status.

In the back and on the side, the Wifi Box 2.0 has two USB ports to connect a 3D printer or a camera, a micro USB power interface, a RJ45 network interface, a TF card port and a reset button.

Creality Wifi Box 1.0 and 2.0 offer a new 3D printing experience. In addition, within the Creality Cloud there is an active and creative community where you can download unlimited STL files for free, share models, and laminate and print STL files online.
