Creality is a company specialising in the design and production of 3D printing related products. Undoubtedly, this company is known for having some of the best-selling 3D printers on the market, due to its great value for money. Creality offers a wide variety of quality 3D printer models that adapt to the user's needs and at a much lower cost than other brands.
The Creality CR-10 3D printer series has 6 models of 3D printers, which undoubtedly stand out for their large printing volume, allowing the user to 3D print large parts.
Another outstanding feature of the Creality CR-10 3D printers is that they all have an aluminium profile, which provides precision, stability and noise reduction during operation. This feature stands out compared to other 3D printers in the same price range, which have lower quality profiles. This point is decisive and directly affects the quality of the 3D printed parts.
Creality 3D printers are Opensource, so they can print with materials of any brand. In addition, they can use any lamination software.
The Creality CR-10 SE 3D printer is an accurate printer with a build volume of 220 x 220 x 265 mm, a printing speed of up to 600 mm/s, a maximum extrusion temperature of 300 ºC, a maximum bed temperature of 110 ºC (flexible build plate), hands-free autoomatic leveling (CR-Touch and strain sensor), a filament runout sensor, power loss recovery, and a lighting kit. CR-10 SE can work with a wide variety of materials, such as PLA, PLA Wood, PLA CF, PTE, PETG, TPU, ABS and ASA.
The X and Y-axis of the CR-10 SE printer are equipped with exact linear rails featuring carriage slides that incorporate ball bearings. This guarantees precise, stable, and friction-free movement (with a friction coefficient of 0.04). Constructed from robust steel, these components retain their pristine condition even with prolonged usage. Stability is guaranteed thanks to the input shaping feature where a G-sensor mitigates the printer's vibrations and reduces ringing and ghosting. Oozing and blobs are avoided with the help of the motion advance function.
CR-10 SE is equipped with a wear-resistant hardened steel nozzle (0.4 mm), a hotend with a 60 W ceramic heater, and a dedicated model cooling fan. The hotend's ceramic heater helps get filament fully melted at a 32mm³/s flow. The heatbreak is made of copper an titanium alloy which helps prevent heat creep. The extruder is a "Sprite" direct drive extruder with two gears (1:3.5 gear ratio) and an extrusion force of 65 N. Thanks to the precise and uniform feeding and extraction, CR-10 SE gives great results even with flexible filaments. The dedicated model cooling fan (12000 rpm) helps achieve great detail, bridges and overhangs by cooling the freshly extruded filament evenly from three sides.
The printer is controlled via a user-friendly interface accessible via the printer's 4.3" touchscreen or the Creality software. Once the CR-10 SE printer is online, the printing process can be monitored from the user's PC or phone via the Creality Cloud APP. The Creality Cloud also gives the user access to free models and the Creality Print laminating software. The laminating software and the Creality Cloud also make it possible to manage multiple CR-10 SE printers as part of a 3D printing farm, via phone or PC.
To give the users even more versatility and freedom, the CR-10 SE printer can work with the following Creality add-ons: AI LiDAR, AI Camera, Laser Engraving Module, and the Creality Enclosure. All these add-ons must be purchased separately. Assembly and operation guides can be found in the downloads section as well as on the Creality YouTube channel.
