The Phrozen Engineering Rigid PC/GF-Like Resin should be kept at room temperature in a dark, ventilated place. After printing, used resin should be stored in an opaque, closed container and must not be mixed with new resin. It is essential to keep it out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight. Gloves and a mask are always recommended when handling the resin. In case of contact with skin or eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water. Resin should not be disposed of directly; it must be cured and treated as regular plastic waste. This resin is not compatible with the Phrozen Pump & Fill system.

Printing Parameters

The recommended layer height for all printers is 50 microns. The lift speed is generally 60 mm/min, except for Sonic Mega 8K printers, which can be adjusted to 45 mm/min. Below are the specific parameters by printer model:

PrinterExposure (s)Base Exposure (s)Light-off Delay (s)Lift Distance (mm)
Sonic Mini / Mini 4K17.5 ± 2.512.5 ± 2.5116
Sonic Mini 8K17.5 ± 2.512.5 ± 2.526
Sonic Mini 8K S12.5 ± 2.58 ± 226
Sonic Mighty 4K17.5 ± 2.512.5 ± 2.5118
Sonic Mighty 8K17.5 ± 2.512.5 ± 2.528
Sonic Mighty 12K17.5 ± 2.512.5 ± 2.528
Sonic Mighty Revo 14K13.5 ± 0.518 ± 548
Sonic Mighty Revo 16K10 ± 0.512 ± 538
Sonic Mega 8K22.5 ± 2.515 ± 528
Sonic Mega 8K S20.5 ± 2.512.5 ± 2.528
Sonic Mega 8K V220.5 ± 2.515 ± 528

For the best quality, increase the rest time between layers if you want to reduce resin accumulation. Sonic Mega printers have higher peeling forces, so longer exposure times are required to improve print success rates.

Post-Printing Cleaning

After removing the object from the build plate, wash it using a Phrozen Wash and Cure kit. It is recommended to immerse the object in 95% ethanol for 45–60 seconds, ensuring not to exceed this time to avoid surface damage. Hollow objects should be cleaned thoroughly. Then, let the objects dry in a cool, ventilated place for at least 30 minutes, or use compressed air gently to accelerate drying. When printing flat objects, remove them carefully to prevent deformation.

Post-Curing

For post-curing, use Phrozen stations or UV lamps with a compatible wavelength. Standard UV curing should be performed for 120 minutes, followed by an additional thermal cure of 2 hours at 100°C to achieve maximum strength and stability of the printed object.
