The Nano Rigid resin by Moiin is a high quality open material designed and manufactured in Germany. The Nano Rigid resin is reinforced with ceramic particles and is characterized by a great smooth ceramic-like surface finish, great precision, elevated stiffness and low electrical conductivity. The dimensional stability of objects 3D printed with the Nano Rigid resin stays reliable even when the parts are exposed to high levels of mechanical stress

There are many possible applications for the Nano Rigid resin:

  • Rigid objects that require high dimensional stability and a very smooth surface.
  • Functional parts and prototypes that are subjected to intense mechanical stress.

Just like all Moiin resins, the Nano Rigid resin uses the trademark Moiin CDB technology to guarantee exceptional precision of the parts 3D printed with the Nano Rigid resin, even when the part features inner structures, holes and cavities. The CDB technology (Cure Depth Barrier) minimizes the overcuring in the Z axis (no influence over printing speed) with the help of a chemical component included in the resin. That chemical component is optimized in each Moiin resin to ensure optimal performance in terms of the specific properties.
