ApolloX ASA Filaments from FormFutura.

ApolloX
by FormFutura redefines the standards of filaments for FDM 3D printers, offering a unique combination of precision, strength, and versatility for mechanical and industrial applications. This industrial ASA-based filament ASA has been enriched with five additional polymers and modifiers, achieving outstanding impact resistance and the ability to withstand high temperatures, making it the ideal choice for projects that require durability and performance under extreme conditions, both outdoors and in demanding industrial environments.

The advanced design of ApolloX enables FDM/FFF prints without warping, with perfect interlayer adhesion and high-definition fine details, comparable to injection molding quality. Its thermal stability and optimized filament flow ensure consistent results on parts of any size, especially when using a heated print chamber, guaranteeing professional finishes even on the most ambitious projects.

ApolloX prints best with a nozzle of at least 0.15 mm and a minimum layer height of 0.1 mm, ensuring good definition without compromising part strength. The recommended printing temperature is between 230 and 280 °C, while the print bed should be maintained between 90 and 110 °C to ensure proper adhesion.

For more consistent results, it is advisable to use a bed adhesive, which helps with part fixation and protects the print surface. For larger parts, it is recommended to work inside a heated chamber around 40 °C, which helps reduce warping and improve dimensional stability.

The fan flow can be adjusted between 0 and 50% depending on the type of part and desired details. Being an industrial-grade filament, ApolloX is aimed at intermediate-level users, as fine-tuning may be required depending on the printer, hotend, or print speed. The indicated parameters serve as a guideline, but it is always recommended to experiment until the optimal setup is found.
