Mahor Feedstock Lite pellet feeder

Manufactured by Mahor, the Feedstock Lite pellet feeder is an ideal match for the Mahor V4 pellet extruder. This compact plug-and-play solution, measuring just 75 x 115 x 186 mm and weighing only 1 kg, is designed for efficiency and ease of use. It is compatible with 1-4 mm diameter pellets and features a 1 L hopper, capable of dosing 2-3 kg of pellets per hour. The feeder's tube, with an inner diameter of 8 mm, an outer diameter of 12 mm, and a length of 2 meters, is constructed from high-quality, durable flexible polyurethane.

The pellet level in the Feedstock Lite is monitored by a smart capacitive sensor with a 12 mm diameter. The user interface includes a dosing blade switch and a PWM air pressure regulator with a maximum pressure of 5.5 kpa. Operating on 12 V DC and consuming 100 W, the Feedstock Lite ensures reliable performance for various 3D printing applications. Its advanced features and robust design make it suitable for professional and industrial environments, providing precise pellet feeding for high-quality printing results.

The anatomy of the Feedstock Lite pellet feeder includes four key components. Number 1 is the dosing blade switch, which controls the flow of pellets to ensure precise dosing. Number 2 is the PWM air pressure blower, responsible for regulating air pressure to assist in the smooth movement of pellets. Number 3 is the sensor connector, which links the capacitive sensor for accurate pellet level monitoring. Finally, Number 4 is the 12 V DC 10 A power inlet, providing the necessary power for the feeder's operation.

The Feedstock Lite pellet feeder is designed with a 33 mm flange, providing flexibility to connect various hopper options. Users can attach a PET bottle or a 3D-printed hopper, both of which offer convenient solutions for pellet supply. The 3D-printed hopper is particularly user-friendly, featuring a top cap lock that ensures easy and secure refilling of pellets. This adaptability allows for customization according to specific needs and enhances the versatility of the Feedstock Lite feeder in various 3D printing applications.
