Cutting the filament is a precautionary measure to prevent clogging issues when using Bambu Lab X1 and P1 series 3D printers, as well as the H2S, H2C, and H2D models in their standard or laser versions. When used together with the AMS Module, the filament cutter enables a smooth transition between multiple materials.
