A notable feature of the CR-Scan Raptor is its use of seven parallel blue laser lines, which provide highly detailed scanning with a single laser line as thin as 0.1 mm. This technology enables the scanner to capture sharper and clearer edges, essential for producing high-fidelity 3D models. Complementing this is the infrared structured light scanning, which utilizes speckle matching 3D imaging techniques. This approach eliminates the need for markers and ensures feature-rich final results, further enhanced by the scanner's high-speed performance. The blue light scanning can reach speeds of up to 60 fps, while the near-infrared (NIR) scanning operates at up to 20 fps.

The CR-Scan Raptor is equipped with an advanced temperature compensation algorithm that optimizes temperature stability and ensures accurate results across a range of environmental conditions. The scanner's design features a 20 mm diameter lens with low distortion (less than 5‰), incorporating a 9-element glass lens housed in a robust metal lens barrel and holder. This design supports both near and far distance scanning, providing reliable performance even in high and low-temperature environments. The inclusion of One-Shot 3D imaging technology further stabilizes the scanner and reduces the likelihood of tracking loss due to shakiness, with fast backtracking speeds ensuring smoother handheld scanning.

To enhance its functionality in various lighting conditions, the CR-Scan Raptor is fitted with 12 circular LED texture lights. These lights improve color mapping in low-light environments and accurately represent the object's color. The dual-color LED system includes blue lights for supplementary laser line illumination and white lights to enhance color texture brightness. This feature allows the scanner to effectively capture the details of black or metallic/reflective objects, such as car parts and tires, without the need for scanning spray.

The CR-Scan Raptor offers an intuitive user experience with a ring indicator light that provides real-time feedback on scanning status. The device features ergonomic buttons and is designed for easy one-handed control, weighing only 372 grams to minimize user fatigue during extended use. Additionally, the scanner includes an anti-slip sleeve and a detachable lanyard for enhanced handling. A high-precision glass calibration board is also provided to maintain the scanner's accuracy over time.
