The PETG pellets by Fillamentum are a high quality and easy to process FGF 3D printing material characterized by high transparency and gloss, reduced warping and shrinkage, high flexural strength, and elevated overall resilience and hardness. The PETG pellets are resistant to temperatures of up to 70 ºC and demonstrate good chemical resistance to water, acids, bases and alcohols.
Furthermore, the Fillamentum PETG pellets are RoHS compliant as well as free of styrene and BPA (toxic to people when in contact with food). They have passed all official certifications and have been approved as a valid material for direct food contact both in the EU as well as in the US.
These pellets were created specially for BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing) and MAAM (Middle Area Additive Manufacturing) in mind. They can be extruded with the help of FGF manufacturing solutions such as the CEAD AM Flexbot, the CEAD E25 extruder, the Mahor V4 pellet extruder, or the Dyze Pulsar extruder.

The proper storage of 3D printing materials is key to smooth extrusion, and great surface quality and mechanical properties of the 3D printed part. The PETG pellets should be stored in a closed package in dry conditions at temperature below 50 ºC, protected from UV-light at all times. If the pellets absorb excess moisture, they should be dried for 5 hours at 65 ºC. The recommended processing temperature for the PETG pellets is 235 - 255 ºC.
