Zortrax is a Polish company founded in 2013 and focused on the development of professional 3D printing systems. Its main strength is the excellent optimisation and integration between its 3D printers, materials and software. Thanks to this, the entire printing process is greatly simplified, minimising set-up times and reducing the likelihood of failure to a minimum, making them ideal systems for professional environments.
Today, Zortrax is one of the brands with the greatest presence in major companies in sectors such as architecture, medicine, engineering and automotive.
The Zortrax M300 Plus is the successor to the excellent Zortrax M300 and is the Zortrax desktop printer with the largest build volume. It has the same features as the proven M200 Plus, but with a build volume of 300 x 300 x 300 mm.
A higher build volume also means longer duty cycles, so the chances of failure are multiplied compared to lower volume printers with short duty cycles. This is why reliability is a critical factor in this type of 3D printer.
The Zortax M300 Plus 3D printer has been designed to operate in the most demanding environments. This is achieved by using the highest quality components and has been optimised to minimise maintenance costs and calibration requirements. As a result, the Zortrax M300 Plus can operate for extended periods of time without risk of failure.
In addition, its robust structure is constructed from a single piece of powder-coated metal, which provides excellent stability and durability.
The Zortrax M300 Plus also features a direct extruder and a proprietary hotend with excellent thermal performance, minimising the risk of clogging and heatcreep on long or shrink-heavy prints.
In addition, both the hotend and the extruder have been optimised for reliable use of flexible filaments.
Zortrax offers one of the widest ranges of technical materials, including ASA, PC-ABS, Nylon or its renowned Z-ULTRAT. All of these materials have been developed and optimised to, together with Zortax 3D printers, provide a print quality that is difficult to achieve on other equipment. This avoids the whole process of optimisation required to fine-tune materials from other manufacturers, saving significant time and costs.
In addition, Zortrax 3D printers are not only compatible with their own materials, but it is possible to use any material from other manufacturers thanks to their direct extruder capable of printing up to 290 ºC and the possibility of using both perforated bases and glass bases heated up to 105 ºC.
As a result of a firmware update, the M300 Plus 3D printer can work with a new speed mode with acceleration option. This feature allows the user to print up to 3 times faster.
This feature is free of charge, requires no hardware modifications and significantly increases the potential of the M300 Plus printer when it comes to batch production, rapid prototyping, in projects where parts require post-processing and, in general, in 3D printing workflows where product turnaround time is crucial.
The Zortrax M300 Plus has been designed to be simple and safe to use. For this purpose, it has a touch screen through which you can control its intuitive Android-based firmware. It also has wifi and ethernet connection, integrated camera, automatic levelling system (only compatible with perforated bases), end-of-filament sensor and print recovery mode in case of hardware failure.
In addition, the HEPA cover, a cover that allows the printer to be completely enclosed and has a high-efficiency HEPA filter, is available as an optional extra. This not only improves printing with warping-prone media, but also increases the safety of the working environment by reducing the emission of harmful gases and odours from certain media.
Its high connectivity, compact size, high reliability and compatibility with the Zortrax InCloud service make the M300 Plus the perfect printer to integrate into print farms that require large format units.
The Zortrax M300 Plus 3D printer is undoubtedly one of the best options for users who need a reliable, high-volume build.

Despite requiring minimal maintenance, it is advisable to carry out a series of maintenance tasks described in the document "Maintenance guide" available in the download tab.
The automatic levelling system is only compatible with the perforated base included. If the glass base is used, it must always be levelled using the manual levelling assistant.
