The PA/PET support from Bambu Lab is designed to optimize 3D printing of high-performance technical materials, including PAHT-CF, PA6-CF, PET-CF and PA-GF. This support filament ensures precise adhesion and easy hand removal, offering a clean and professional interface finish, maximizing printed part quality and reducing post-processing time.

The Nylon and PET support comes in a high-temperature reusable spool, 1.75 mm diameter with ±0.03 mm tolerance, ensuring consistent feeding and full compatibility with complete AMS systems, while not compatible with AMS Lite.

This support material is more eco-friendly, helping reduce up to 20% of plastic waste, especially when reusing spools or printing a custom one. It also integrates RFID smart printing technology, allowing automatic setup of all printing parameters via the AMS system, eliminating manual steps and ensuring reproducible, high-quality prints in every project.

The PA/PET support from Bambu Lab is ideal for those seeking efficiency, precision, and sustainability in industrial 3D printing. Its ability to create a perfect support interface, combined with easy removal and compatibility with composite materials, makes it an essential resource for projects requiring high mechanical strength, precise details, and a professional finish.

To reduce plastic waste, Bambu Lab recommends users reuse spools or print their own.

The PA/PET support from Bambu Lab requires proper drying before printing to ensure optimal performance. It is recommended to dry the filament at 80 °C for 8 to 12 hours in a dryer, or at 90 °C for 10 hours on the printer's heated bed. Keeping the relative humidity below 20% during storage, preferably in a sealed container with desiccant, helps preserve material quality and prevents adhesion or deformation issues during printing.

It is essential to remove support structures within two hours after printing to prevent supports from sticking excessively to the part once they absorb moisture. If this occurs, drying the model facilitates removal and ensures a clean, professional finish.

This support filament cannot be used to print complete parts independently, but only for the support section of printed objects. It is recommended to use Bambu Lab's AMS system for multi-material printing, ensuring proper feeding and compatibility with other filaments. In addition, the support should only be used with the recommended filament types and temperatures, as ignoring these guidelines may cause clogs or print failures.

For consistent results, the nozzle temperature should be kept between 260 °C and 290 °C, while the print bed should be set between 80 °C and 100 °C, using compatible surfaces such as textured PEI plates. Preparing the bed with PVP glue is recommended to improve support adhesion and maintain a printing speed below 100 mm/s, adjusting retraction to 0.8–1.4 mm and retraction speed between 20–40 mm/s depending on part geometry.

During printing, fan speed can be set between 0 and 60%, while the chamber temperature should be maintained between 45 °C and 60 °C. These conditions help control material shrinkage, improve dimensional accuracy and ensure easier support removal, guaranteeing high-quality final parts with professional finishes.
