The heater block in an FDM 3D printer is a key element of the hotend, as it houses the connections needed to install the heater cartridge and thermistor required for operation. The Revo HeaterCore design unifies these elements into a single component, making it much more compact than previous heater blocks from this and other manufacturers.

The Revo HeaterCore provides a fail-safe solution at the hardware level. It is designed with a positive temperature coefficient (PTC), so the heater output decreases as it heats up, reducing the risks in case of thermal runaway.

In addition, the heater cartridge and thermistor are coated with a ceramic compound with high thermal conductivity, thus heating the block quickly and achieving high printing temperatures, allowing the user to work with a wide variety of FDM 3D printing materials.

In addition to its design from the ground up and its innovative features, the Revo HeaterCore has a silicone sleeve that helps maintain a constant temperature, while protecting the user from burns and making the hotend easier to clean and maintain.
