Inkspire resin tank (Zortrax)

One of the key parts for the correct functioning of the Zortrax Inkspire LCD 3D printer is the resin tank. The Zortrax Inkspire resin tank is a removable reservoir for storing the resin that will later solidify layer by layer until the part is fully realised.

The resin tank is made of a polymeric film, specially designed to offer low surface tension, held in place by a high strength plastic frame that keeps the film in tension, thus obtaining a high printing performance.

Like all resin tanks of this type of technology, it has a limited useful life. Although it is possible to reuse a tank for different resins, always carrying out a thorough cleaning between resin changes, it is recommended to have a tank for each type of resin to avoid possible problems, such as contamination of the resins when two different types of materials come into contact.
