The POM Screw for WASP Manual Extrusion System (MFS) is specifically designed for the manual feeding systems integrated into delta-type WASP 3D printers, compatible only with the Delta WASP 40100 Clay and Delta WASP 40100 LDM models. Its main function is to act as a transmission screw for dense mixtures or ceramic pastes, ensuring controlled dosing, low friction, and continuous flow to the extrusion chamber.

Made of polyoxymethylene (POM), this screw provides rigidity, wear resistance, and intrinsic lubricity, making it suitable for extrusion environments with particulate or high-viscosity materials. Its design minimizes play and reduces internal blockages, facilitating a more stable and repeatable operation.

For installation, it is recommended to verify that the screw housing is clean and free of debris, check alignment with the drive shaft, and ensure the proper tightening torque according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Once installed, a test feed with material should be performed before resuming full production to ensure a uniform and uninterrupted flow.
