The kit provides several interchangeable nozzles designed for use in manual feeding systems (MFS) for dense materials, such as , integrated into industrial 3D printers. The nozzles allow adjustment of the output diameter and optimization of material flow performance based on viscosity, flow rate, and the required resolution.

This set, developed by WASP and compatible with the manual feeding system (MFS), includes metal and plastic nozzles of different diameters, as well as mounting adapters to attach to the system. Users must confirm mechanical compatibility with the existing extruder or feed funnel, mainly the manual feeding system of the extruder designed for high-density material.

During operation, the choice of nozzle directly affects deposition speed, extruded wall uniformity, and material consistency. A larger-diameter nozzle facilitates the passage of mixtures with solid particles or high viscosity, while a smaller diameter allows finer layers and better dimensional definition. It is important that the transition between the adapter and nozzle is airtight to avoid leaks or irregularities in the flow.

Installation requires screwing the nozzle with the recommended torque, ensuring no leaks and alignment with the extrusion axis. Before starting production, it is recommended to purge the system to remove air and ensure a homogeneous flow from the start. For maintenance, the nozzle opening, presence of blockages, and wear of the output profile should be checked periodically. If signs of erosion, irregular flow, or residue accumulation appear, the nozzle should be replaced to restore operational quality.

This WASP MFS nozzle kit is a versatile solution for additive manufacturing with dense materials. Proper selection, installation, and maintenance allow optimized deposition, improved part quality, and reduced downtime for maintenance.
