The PLA Natural pellets by Fillamentum are a high quality FGF 3D printing material based on PLA Extrafill. The PLA Natural pellets are characterized by ease of printing, excellent interlayer adhesion and great surface quality and surface hardness of the 3D printed parts. The recommended processing temperature is 190-210 ºC.
These pellets were created sspecially for BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing) and MAAM (Middle Area Additive Manufacturing) in mind. They can be extruded with the help of FGF manufacturing solutions such as the CEAD AM Flexbot, the CEAD E25 extruder, the Mahor V4 pellet extruder, or the Dyze Pulsar extruder.
Since PLA is a 100% bio-based material, the PLA Natural pellets and parts 3D printed with them are fully biodegradable in industrial conditions. Industrial composting plants are usually more controlled than natural environments, and have the ideal pressure and temperature conditions for these materials to degrade in the shortest possible time.

The proper storage of 3D printing materials is key to smooth extrusion, and great surface quality and mechanical properties of the 3D printed part. The PLA Natural pellets should be stored in a closed package in dry conditions at temperature below 50 ºC, protected from UV-light at all times. If the pellets absorb excess moisture, they should be dried for 3 hours at 50 ºC. The recommended processing temperature for the PLA Natural pellets is 190 - 210 ºC.
