Maximum speed without compromising performance and finish

The high-flow formulation allows fast prints with clean and precise extrusions, reaching industrial working speeds while maintaining excellent layer adhesion. High-speed printing preserves structural integrity and finish, making this PETG filament ideal for continuous production, rapid prototyping, and professional work requiring technical performance.

Strength, reliability, and functional parts

Polymaker PETG filament offers superior mechanical strength, low warping tendency, and reliable feeding for long runs. These characteristics allow functional end-use parts with high stiffness, durability, and professional appearance directly from the print bed. Its mechanical performance and interlayer adhesion place it among the most reliable PETG filaments for technical applications.

Printing Tips for Polymaker PETG

For the best results when printing with Polymaker PETG, it is recommended to follow these settings and best practices:

Printing Temperatures and Speed

The optimal printing temperature is between 240˚C and 260˚C, while the bed should be kept between 60˚C and 70˚C to ensure stable adhesion. This filament allows printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s, with the fan adjusted between 20% and 60% depending on the part geometry and the need for controlled cooling.

Retraction

For printers with a direct extruder, a retraction distance of 1 mm and speed of 20 mm/s is recommended. In Bowden or indirect drive setups, the retraction distance should be 3 mm with a speed of 40 mm/s. These settings help prevent stringing and ensure a clean finish.

Filament Drying

If the material has absorbed moisture, it is recommended to dry it before printing. Suggested settings are 55˚C for 6 hours to restore its properties and avoid bubbles or stringing during printing.

Printer Profiles

Polymaker PETG is compatible with most FDM printers. If a pre-configured profile is not available, you can consult the active community on Discord, where thousands of users have shared their optimized settings and profiles for various printer models.

Following these tips results in strong, dimensionally stable parts with a professional finish, suitable for both functional prototypes and high-performance final applications.
