The PETG Lite ReFill filament for 3D printers from The Filament combines mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, and sustainability in an innovative format. Designed to deliver stable performance and consistent results even during long prints, it is ideal for functional prototypes, industrial parts, and home projects. Each spool is created for those who value reliability, durability, and environmental responsibility.

PETG Lite ReFill comes on an eco-friendly cardboard core fully compatible with BambuLab reusable spools, eliminating the need to print adapters or use extra plastic. If a reusable spool is not available, it is possible to download and print a spool model from The Filament website. This allows users to enjoy all the benefits of the ReFill format without worrying about printer compatibility.

Superior performance for strong parts and functional prototypes

PETG Lite ReFill retains all the features that have made PETG Lite a benchmark material: high mechanical strength, excellent layer adhesion, and dimensional precision. Its optimized composition ensures smooth surfaces, structural stability, and consistent results for both large parts and detailed models.

Thanks to its easy printability and predictable thermal behavior, this filament delivers smooth, jam-free extrusion even in long-duration prints. It is the ideal choice for anyone seeking a versatile, reliable, and durable PETG filament at a competitive price.

Sustainable format: less plastic, more responsibility

The ReFill format promotes a more sustainable approach to 3D printing by using a recyclable cardboard core instead of a traditional plastic spool, significantly reducing plastic waste. Manufactured in Europe under strict quality control, it combines high performance with a responsible and eco-friendly approach.

This ReFill version is the perfect alternative for those who want to minimize their environmental impact without sacrificing the stability, precision, and reliability expected from The Filament’s professional-grade filaments.

Reliability and versatility in every print

PETG Lite ReFill is available in classic, universal colors, suitable for home, professional, and functional prototype printing. Its consistent print quality and universal FDM printer compatibility ensure accurate, strong, and repeatable results for every project.

Its balanced formulation makes it ideal for additive manufacturing workshops, industrial modeling, and creative projects, always providing a smooth and professional 3D printing experience.

Why choose PETG Lite ReFill

This filament combines strength, practicality, and sustainability in a single product. It provides trouble-free printing, excellent layer adhesion, and high durability even in mechanically demanding parts. With its eco-friendly format and reliable performance, PETG Lite ReFill is the smart choice for anyone seeking quality, precision, and environmental responsibility in every 3D print.

Choosing PETG Lite ReFill from The Filament means prioritizing performance, reliability, and sustainability for every 3D printing project, producing durable, precise parts with a reduced environmental impact.

HS Code 3916.9

The 1.75 mm PETG Lite filament has been developed to provide simple, stable, and high-quality printing on any FDM 3D printer. To achieve a professional finish and excellent layer adhesion, it is recommended to carefully adjust the printing parameters according to the material's technical specifications.

Ideal printing temperature

The recommended nozzle temperature is between 235 and 255 °C, depending on the type of 3D printer and the level of model detail. A lower temperature favors better surface finish on small parts, while settings closer to 220 °C ensure more stable extrusion for large-volume prints.

Bed temperature and adhesion

For optimal adhesion, the heated bed should be maintained around 60 °C. Although this filament provides excellent adhesion on clean glass or PEI surfaces, it can be further improved using specialized adhesives such as Dimafix, 3DLac or Magigoo, especially for large parts or wide bases. These products help prevent warping and ensure perfect adhesion throughout the print.

Printing speed and cooling

PETG Lite allows a wide printing speed ranging from 40 to 350 mm/s, making it versatile for both rapid prototyping and high-precision models. For best results on fine details or complex geometries, moderate speeds are recommended with the part cooling fan set between 75-100%, promoting even cooling and superior surface quality.

Environment and maintenance

PETG Lite does not require an enclosed chamber for proper operation, simplifying its use in home and educational environments. Its thermal resistance reaches 76 °C, making it suitable for most standard 3D printing applications. It does not require pre-drying due to its low moisture absorption. It is recommended to store the filament in a dry, light-protected place to maintain long-term quality.

Compatibility and durability

With a density of 1.24 g/cm³ and manufactured according to RoHS and REACH regulations, this filament ensures a safe and reliable printing experience. It does not require ruby or hardened nozzles, as its non-abrasive composition is fully compatible with standard brass nozzles, ensuring long equipment life without premature wear.
