The PETG Lite 1.75 mm filament has been developed to provide easy, stable, and high-quality printing on any FDM 3D printer. To achieve a professional finish and excellent layer adhesion, it is recommended to carefully adjust the printing parameters according to the material's technical specifications.

Ideal printing temperature

The recommended nozzle temperature ranges between 235 and 255 °C, depending on the type of 3D printer and the model's level of detail. A lower temperature promotes a better surface finish on small parts, while a setting closer to 220 °C ensures more stable extrusion on large-volume prints.

Bed temperature and adhesion

For optimal adhesion, the heated bed should be maintained at 60 °C. Although this filament provides excellent adhesion on clean glass or PEI surfaces, it can be further improved using specialized adhesives like Dimafix, 3DLac or Magigoo, especially on large parts or wide bases. These products help prevent warping and ensure perfect adhesion throughout the printing process.

Printing speed and cooling

PETG Lite allows a wide printing speed range from 40 to 350 mm/s, making it versatile for both rapid prototyping and high-precision models. For the best results on fine details or complex geometries, it is recommended to print at moderate speeds with the layer fan set between 75-100%, ensuring uniform cooling and superior surface quality.

Environment and maintenance

PETG Lite does not require an enclosed chamber for proper operation, simplifying its use in home and educational settings. Its thermal resistance reaches 76 °C, making it suitable for most standard 3D printing applications. Additionally, no pre-drying is needed due to its low moisture absorption. It is recommended to store the filament in a dry place protected from direct light to maintain long-term quality.

Compatibility and durability

Thanks to its density of 1.24 g/cm³ and compliance with RoHS and REACH standards, this filament guarantees a safe and reliable printing experience. Ruby or hardened nozzles are not required as its non-abrasive composition is fully compatible with standard brass nozzles, ensuring long equipment life without premature wear.
