ReForm rPETG GF20 from FormFutura is a 100% post-industrial recycled PETG pellet reinforced with 20% long glass fibers, specifically developed for large format 3D printing (LFAM). Its advanced formulation combines sustainability, stiffness, and ease of processing, offering a reliable material that ensures exceptional layer adhesion and low warping in demanding industrial environments.

Mechanical performance and thermal stability

This technical compound stands out for its superior mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and high impact resistance, making it the ideal choice for industrial additive manufacturing, functional prototypes, and large structural parts. With a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 85 °C, ReForm rPETG GF20 guarantees reliable performance even in parts exposed to heat, ideal for industrial applications that require stability under elevated temperatures.

Processability and superior finish

Thanks to its low warping, excellent interlayer adhesion, and high stiffness, this pellet enables the production of large and complex components with dimensional accuracy. Its uniform and attractive surface finish, combined with the reinforced strength provided by the glass fibers, makes it the preferred material for manufacturers seeking durable, stable, and sustainable 3D parts.

Industrial and design applications

  • ReForm rPETG GF20 is used across a wide range of professional sectors:
  • In the electrical and electronic industry, it is perfect for non-conductive insulating housings and covers.
  • In architecture and construction, it enables the printing of large-format decorative panels, structural prototypes, and formworks.
  • In furniture and interior design, it is ideal for custom furniture, artistic installations, and functional pieces requiring strength and a high-quality finish.
  • In automotive and transportation, it offers solutions for structural supports, housings, panels, and parts that must withstand mechanical stress and heat.
  • In industrial tooling and molds, its combination of stiffness and wear resistance allows for the production of reliable templates, molds, and fixtures for serial manufacturing.

Sustainable, high-performance material for LFAM

ReForm rPETG GF20 represents the advanced solution for companies seeking sustainable, high-performance, and reliable 3D printing materials for LFAM. ReForm rPETG GF20 from FormFutura is a recycled PETG pellet reinforced with glass fiber designed for large-format industrial 3D printing (LFAM). Its advanced formulation ensures high mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and excellent layer adhesion, allowing the production of large, functional, and durable parts with uniform and professional finishes.

To optimize printing and maintain material properties, it is recommended to store the pellets in a hermetically sealed container in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated environment, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight or intense heat sources. These handling practices preserve material integrity and ensure consistency and quality in every batch.

Before extrusion, pellets should be pre-dried for 8 to 10 hours at 65–70 °C, reaching a moisture content below 100 ppm, and preferably under 40 ppm. This preparation ensures stable flow, low shrinkage, and high interlayer adhesion — key factors for manufacturing large, precise structural components.

Recommended extrusion temperatures for LFAM are: Zone 1: 210 °C ±10 °C (max. 240 °C), Zone 2: 220 °C ±10 °C with nozzle at 230 °C ±20 °C, and Zone 3: 230 °C ±10 °C. Maintaining these ranges guarantees high-quality 3D printing, minimal warping, and reliable thermal resistance in large-scale parts.

By following these guidelines, ReForm rPETG GF20 enables the creation of industrial components, functional prototypes, and large-format structural parts with superior performance and professional finish, combining sustainability, rigidity, and durability in every print.
