All Metal Hotend Kit for 3D Creality printers
All Metal Hotend Kit for 3D Creality printers is a high quality hotend produced by the American company Micro Swiss, founded in 2014 with the aim of developing quality hotends and extruders for specific 3D printer models. Their goal is to offer high quality products and to this end all components are manufactured in their Minnesota facility.
It is a hotend compatible with multiple Creality 3D printers, designed to directly replace the standard hotend, without the need for any adaptation.
Micro Swiss hotend stands out for its high quality, offering several improvements over the standard hotend.
Firstly, it features a machined grade 5 titanium heat break.Titanium is a better insulator as it has a thermal conductivity 3 times lower than stainless steel, the most commonly used material in all other heat breaks. This helps to maintain a more defined melting zone while helping to maintain temperature stability.
Another great advantage is that it does not need a Teflon thermal tube inside the heatsink, so as the heatsink and the filament are in direct contact, cooling is much faster and more efficient.
Finally, the hotend includes a 0.4 mm nickel-plated brass nozzle. The nozzle is completely covered by a TwinClad XT layer, a nickel composite with one of the lowest coefficients of friction, as well as a higher abrasion resistance than brass only nozzles. The lower coefficient of friction promotes the flow of the molten polymer while preventing clogging, while the higher abrasion resistance increases the durability of the nozzle, especially with fiber or particle reinforced filaments. Micro Swiss offers optional 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm nozzles.
The Micro Swiss FlowTech hotend for Creality K1 and Creality K1 Max offers an array of innovative features tailored to optimize 3D printing performance. Engineered to excel under extrusion temperatures up to 300°C, its ceramic cylindrical heater and expansive 28.6 mm melt zone ensure exceptional volumetric flow rates, facilitating smooth and efficient filament extrusion. Manufactured and meticulously assembled in-house, each hotend undergoes rigorous quality control measures, including comprehensive thermal cycling tests, guaranteeing both durability and consistent, reliable performance.
One standout feature of the FlowTech hotend is its integrated design, which eliminates common issues such as nozzle leakage by seamlessly combining the nozzle and heatbreak into a single, permanently sealed assembly. Moreover, users benefit from enhanced convenience with the ability to conduct cold nozzle swaps, streamlining maintenance and minimizing downtime. Designed as a straightforward drop-in upgrade for Creality K1 and K1 Max printers, this hotend ensures compatibility without requiring adjustments to stock z-height, build volume, or firmware, delivering a hassle-free enhancement to the 3D printing experience.
