The Bambu Lab ASA-CF is an ASA filament reinforced with carbon fiber, designed to excel in demanding outdoor conditions. It combines ASA's weather and UV resistance with the enhanced rigidity provided by carbon fiber, allowing the production of durable parts exposed to sun, rain, or temperature changes without losing structural integrity.

Outdoor surveillance camera mount

This material stands out for its dimensional stability, reducing warping thanks to carbon fiber reinforcement, making it an optimal choice for large models and functional parts under stress. It offers an elegant, uniform matte finish with barely visible layer lines and increased stiffness, ideal for outdoor components such as guards, housings, outdoor furniture, signage, or light engineering parts.

Outdoor caddy

To print correctly with ASA-CF, it is important to use hardened steel nozzles, avoid very fine nozzles like 0.2 mm, use a printer with an enclosed chamber, preheat the bed to 80–100 °C, and maintain extruder temperatures in the 250–280 °C range. The filament should also be dried beforehand (e.g., at 80 °C for several hours) and stored under controlled humidity (below 20% RH) to avoid printing defects.
